கந்தனே கவசம்,
கந்தனே காப்பு,
கந்தனே கடவுள்,
கந்தனே கைலாயம்!
கந்தனே கண்ணின் மணி,
கந்தனே நாசியில் பிராணன்,
கந்தனே நாவில் அமுத மொழிகள்,
கந்தனே செவியில் தேவகானம்!
கந்தனே உடலின் உறுபொருள்,
கந்தனே மனதின் மூலம்,
கந்தனே எண்ணத்தின் பிறப்பிடம்,
கந்தனே பக்தர்க்கு அரண்!
கந்தனே மோட்சம்,
கந்தனே பேரின்பம்,
கந்தனே ஞானத்தின் அதிபதி,
கந்தனே அழகுக்கு அழகு!
கந்தனே கருணையின் பிறப்பிடம்,
கந்தனே பிறவி பிணி நீக்குபவன்,
கந்தனே பிணிக்கு மருந்தானவன்,
கந்தனே காக்கும் கண்ணன்!
கந்தனே காயத்தின் காவலன்,
கந்தனே நீயே எம் தலைவன்,
கந்தா எம் அனைவரையும்
கவசமாய் காப்பாயாக !
