‘स्वयं’ रूप आपने दिखलायो, बंद नेत्र आपकूँ ही पायो।
खुले जूँ ये तो मन हर्षायो, गुरु-ईश्वर में कछु भेद न पायो।।
मैं तो माटी लोथड़ा, कछु ना जाको मोल।
गुरु छूअत बनी जो मूरत, माटी भयी अनमोल।।
You have shown me The True form,
When my eyes closed, I see only You.
When they open, the heart rejoices, I cannot differentiate between Guru and God.
I was just a lump of soil, it was worth nothing. Guru’s touch made it a beautiful idol, the soil became precious.
