Unblinking eyes

Years of waiting, every moment of penance, to get a glimpse of you
Longing, suffering, shedding tears day and night, to get a glimpse of these eyes
Today the sky thundered, the tune of that flute echoed
I ran, forgetting the thorns, and reached there with tore feet.
I see you engrossed in the flute,
Gazing at you,
Looking without blinking
Impatiently to get your attention,

Lost in you, by the tune of your flute rhythming with the sound of my heart,
Drowned in it, looking at you and only you…
When will your eyes open, when will they cast their glimpse on me, and when will the flute on those lips become calm,
Smile and take my name once…
Engrossed in the flute under a dense tree,
With Smiling lips, I know you are looking at me secretly with closed eyes
Knowing it, I am engrossed in it, soaking in the rain,
Those drops fell on my eyes, hiding my tears
And forcing my eyes to close,
Still waiting for your vision,
Give relief to these eyes once,
And complete the wait of my several births.
Unable am I to stop my unblinking eyes from retaining your form and you,
Closed my eyes, I also merged in you,
Reopened my eyes,
I found You were absorbed in me and I absorbed in you.
